The Thermo Scientific LTQ XL? Linear Ion Trap Mass Spectrometer provides accurate mass measurements (m/z 50-4000) with resolution of 60,000 and high sensitivity (low fetomole to high attomole level). The multiple fragmentation technique—PQD, CID—for routine structural elucidation.
The ion source we use is ESI (electrospray ionization), so molecular ion (or more accurately a pseudo molecular ion) can be observed. Our system offers molecular weight measurements with low sample volume consumption (nanoliter to microliter).
