HR's orientation program -?Getting Started @UNH,? is for new benefits eligible employees, designed to assist?in?the successful transition within the University of New Hampshire and our communities. You will learn about?the University's mission, history and brand?that will support and influence?your work life here at UNH.
During your attendance, you will also learn about key university policies, helpful employee resources, and?your core USNH benefits package (medical, dental, life insurance and retirement), along with the benefits enrollment process and timelines applicable to?your?benefits eligibility.
We realize that orienting to a new position can be challenging. This program is intended to address many of your information and resource needs on your first day as you begin your position and to guide you in your?onboarding experiences during your first weeks and months at UNH.
Attendance?for Getting Started @UNH is managed and scheduled by Human Resources (HR) based on the successful completion of the departmental hiring process.?
You will be?notified of?your orientation date via e-mail from Human Resources to the e-mail address on file from?your?online application, or to?your UNH e-mail address (if already activated).? In addition, hiring supervisors will? receive a courtesy copy of your scheduled?orientation date.
