Completed in 2008, Haaland Hall houses students from a diverse array of backgrounds and represent many different identities and personalities. It is home to many CEPS and COLSA students due to its close proximity to the Engineering school in Kingsbury Hall and the new residential learning community for Environmental Sustainability for first-year students. Haaland houses singles, doubles,?and in four?person suites. There is a community kitchen, laundry room, lots of study space, several TVs, two academic classrooms, and air-conditioning, as well as a volleyball court outside.?
Haaland Hall includes 2 private gender inclusive restrooms
Students do not receive mail at the building. Student mailboxes are at the Granite Station Square (GSS) in the Memorial Union Building.

Traditional rooms (the "pods") are single-gender with each floor being assigned a gender that corresponds to the respective community bathroom in on that floor/pod. Suites are single-gender or gender inclusive, with a mixture on each floor.
