JEDI-EOS Spring Support Workshop Series: Professional Development for Faculty, Postdocs, & Staff
JEDI-EOS is collaborating with multiple offices on campus to offer upcoming workshops that will provide key background, tools, and resources to support diverse students and colleagues and help UNH community members through challenges they may face. These workshops are open to all UNH faculty, staff, and postdocs.
Description: Led by the UNH Military & Veteran Services Office and student Veteran volunteers, this training provides an introduction to UNH’s Veteran population, with discussion topics including federally established Keys for Success for student Veterans on campus, how to communicate with student Veterans, common challenges faced by student Veterans, and unique perspectives and skills student Veterans bring to the classroom.
This is the second in a three-part, professional development JEDI-EOS Spring Support Workshop Series, with different topics each month.
