A Day in Portland, Maine

Even though our beautiful Durham campus is situated in a small town, UNH students have incredible access to the cities of New England. Wildcat Transit can take you to nearby Dover or Portsmouth, and the Amtrak Downeaster that runs right through campus can bring you to bigger cities like Boston, Massachusetts, and Portland, Maine. Recently, I decided to see just how easy it is to get from campus to Portland, a coastal city about 60 miles north of Durham.
Here’s how I spent the day.
