UNH graduate student
Corey Sullivan

Lobsters, parasites, seabirds and sandbars were among the topics presented at the School of Marine Science and Ocean Engineering’s graduate student research symposium yesterday, reflecting the interdisciplinary breadth of UNH marine research.

A keynote by Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute president emeritus Robert Gagosian punctuated the afternoon-long event, which also included research posters and oral presentations.

Here (right), graduate student Corey Sullivan describes how he designed the raft for a multitrophic aquaculture site at the mouth of the Piscataqua River. Learn more about the aquaculture project in the video “Steelhead Trout Make a Splash.”
