Add/Drop Instructions for Spring 2025
- All add/drop changes will be completed in Webcat for the entire add/drop period.
- Discuss course changes with your advisor before making changes.
- (Students enrolled in UNH programs using the eight-week E-Term calendar should access the “Eight-week Online E-Terms" calendar for specific dates.)
- Note: some classes already include “permission required” or are reserved for select student populations.
- Instructors cannot override room capacities.
- Permission is granted by the instructor or designated department staff member in the registration system.
- Instructor permission is not required to drop a course.
- After permission is granted, students must then complete the class registration in Webcat.
To drop a course:
- Got to Webcat and login. (For login assistance please call UNH IT at 603-862-4242)
- Select the?Registration?drop down from the blue ribbon at the top of the page, and choose?Registration Information.
- Select Register for Classes from the options provided (upper right)
- Select term (ex: Fall 2022)
- Enter your Alt PIN/Registration Access Code (RAC), and Continue
- If you do not have your Alt PIN/RAC, contact your Academic Advisor
- In the?Summary?block select?drop/delete from the?Action??drop down menu for the class you wish to drop
- Click Submit?and view your new schedule
To add a course:

- Select Register for Classes from the options provided (upper right)
- Select term (ex: Fall 2022)
- Enter your Alt PIN/Registration Access Code (RAC), and Continue
- If you do not have your Alt PIN/RAC, contact your Academic Advisor
- Select the Enter CRNs tab to enter the five-digit course reference numbers (CRNs), or use the?Find Classes Search
- Press Add to Summary
- Click Submit?and view your new schedule
