Each semester, the Changemaker Collaborative is pleased to partner?with regional companies that participate in the?B Impact Clinic. The Clinic gathers teams of students from many majors and disciplines to serve as consultants for companies that are working to complete their B Impact Assessment. The BIA is an open-access, rigorous assessment tool, which is widely regarded as a comprehensive way to assess a company’s social and environmental impact. Bona Fide Green Goods is an eco-shop in Concord. They offer sustainable items for health and beauty, home goods, children, and travel that are locally made, vegan, and/or plastic free. They seek to educate, inspire, and support people who are looking to reduce their waste.?Causes important to them include ocean pollution, climate change, and the reduction of landfill space. Dean’s Beans was established in 1993 by Dean Cyon. They seek to create meaningful change through ethical business practices based in respecting the earth, farmer, employee, and consumer. They are engaged in People-Centered Development programs, activism, and ecological responsibility.
Placework is an architecture and planning firm based in Portsmouth, NH. They are a team of seven architects and designers, all of whom place social and environmental responsibility at the forefront of their personal and professional goals. Their clients are primarily educational institutions (UNH!), municipalities and many non-profits that share our values.
