Dear Colleagues—

Please accept my best wishes for a restful and rejuvenating summer, and my thanks for your hard work and diligence over the last two semesters. We have a lot to be proud of, most especially keeping our campuses and our community safe.?Everyone has worked hard to bring the academic year to a successful close and I ask that you make sure to take some time off to recharge and enjoy the summer.?By way of thanks and to support getting time to recharge,?the university (all three campuses) will be closed Friday, July 2, in addition to Monday, July 5, in recognition of the July 4th?holiday.?July 2 will be a one-time paid holiday closure.?I recognize there are summer classes in session July 2; all remote classes will continue due to the short summer sessions.

Take care,

James W. Dean Jr.
