This stroke clinic is designed for pre-competitive swimmers ages 6-13 who are currently at a swim level of Youth Level 4 or higher. It will focus on stroke technique and fundamentals for all four competitive strokes as well as dives and turns. The clinic is offered in one, four-week session with lessons on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for seven lessons. There are no lessons held on October 31.

Space is limited. Enroll early to guarantee a spot. You will be asked to indicate a swim level during the registration. Consult the Swim Level Chart if needed. Stroke Clinic participants must be in Youth Level 4 or higher.

All lessons are held at the Swasey Indoor Pool, inside the UNH Field House at 145 Main St., Durham, NH. Additional information is sent to enrolled students/families directly from the Aquatics staff before the session start date.

Refunds are not provided for group lessons or for missed lessons.

Online Registration Instructions: Review before enrolling for the best outcome. Family Accounts are recommended for enrolling multiple children from one family in any UNH Youth Program. If you already have an account in our system, you will be asked to log into either a Family or Student Account after adding the program to your shopping cart. Be sure to use the username and password for the type of account you wish to log into.  We recommend attempting to log into the Student or Family account before enrollment opens as this will minimize difficulty and time while enrolling. Email youth.programs@unh.edu if you require assistance recovering your account information. Do not create a new account if you have one already.

If you don't have an account already, you can set up an account at any time, even before you begin the registration process. If creating a new student/individual account, the account must be in the name of the child, but the email address provided in the profile should be that of a parent/legal guardian.

CampDoc: UNH has partnered with CampDoc to quicken the enrollment process. Enrollments and payments will still be done here through our current enrollment system, but no registration questions will be required at that time. Within a few days of enrolling, the email provided in the Student or Family Account will receive an email prompting completion of the registration questions.

Due to very brief timelines between enrollment and the program start date, it is important that a parent/guardian respond to the CampDoc email and complete the registration questions promptly. A parent/guardian must log into the student’s account to review/update information, complete any necessary questions for this program and re-sign some waivers. A participant’s CampDoc profile must be 100% complete before they can attend the program.

For more information, including the CampDoc Support Line, review our “CampDoc” page.

Parking Information: Pay & Display parking is available at a few locations near the Field House:

  • Sage Way Visitor Lot at 20 Sage Way
  • Edgewood Road Visitor Lot at 5 Edgewood Rd

Families with students taking a lesson after 6pm may park for free in Lot A, located across from the Field House on Main St., as ticketing concludes at 6pm. Parking in Lot A before 6pm may result in being ticketed.
