The Washington Center offers internships and seminars in Washington DC, home to hundreds of government agencies, multi-national corporations, non-profit organizations, think tanks, advocacy groups, law firms, and more.

Do you volunteer at a non-profit? Involved in your town’s local elections? Coach a youth sports team? Your community engagement may count towards your Honors degree.

Variable Units

Students with excellent writing skills may be selected to help their fellow students through the Connors Writing Center. The Writing Assistantship includes a course on teaching methods as well as paid work in the Writing Center.

Many courses at UNH engage high-performing students to help younger peers. Taking part in Peer-Led Team Learning and other supervised teaching experiences can earn you credit or pay, as well as Honors Units.

Sustainability Fellowship


Variable Units

The Sustainability Fellowship pairs exceptional UNH undergraduate students and post-baccalaureates (grad students and recent grads) from UNH and universities across the United States with municipal, educational, corporate, and non-profit partners to work on transformative sustainability projects.
