We are promoting networking with UNH colleagues by facilitating connections with peers interested in collaborations that are primarily: teaching based, research focused, or grounded in community.

Express interest using this very short form?if you would like to participate in networking events where you can meet other UNH faculty and staff interested in discussing teaching, research, building community on campus or propose another topic.? After you complete the survey, we will reach out with additional details about the networking event to connect you with colleagues.? We will begin scheduling these based on interest. ??

Do you need a working group on a common goal or challenge related to educational excellence or effectiveness?

?

Propose a challenge or issue for a collaborative group.?In response to your proposal, we can help you set up a working group and structure for the group to clarify the purpose, roles of the group members, identify evidence to inform decisions, and plan to collaboratively collect interpret, and propose policy/process changes.?

Think Tank Topics in Higher Education

Discussions about Topics in Higher education that challenge those of us at the University of New Hampshire.

Academic leaders face and must respond to a variety of complex issues faced within higher education broadly and here at UNH. This series brings together faculty and staff from across the university to discuss and brainstorm some of these issues. Topic ideas are welcomed from the community (see the bottom of the page to offer a future topic).
?

Each discussion will be an opportunity to discuss a current problem in higher education or an issue relevant to UNH colleagues.
They will be one-hour discussions during lunch on Mondays monthly this fall, but they will be Tuesdays in the spring (to accommodate different schedules).?

Soup and Salad with the Provost

Soup and salad with the Provost creates an opportunity for more in-depth discussions with faculty in a small group setting.

Since 2017, Soup and Salad with the Provost has provided a relaxed and casual opportunity for the provost and members of the UNH faculty to discuss issues of the day over a light lunch.

Faculty are invited to think about the UNH issues at the top of their agendas and bring them to the discussion.

This small group averages about fifteen faculty members a session. Most groups assemble around a common trait, like faculty position, campus location, or special project.?

Soup and Salad with the Provost is invitation-only, happening mid-week, once a month from September-April.?
