UNH Hospitality Services and Healthy UNH introduce a new and improved Wildcat Plate to be used throughout the campus dining halls
The plate advocates for healthier food choices and portion sizes based on the USDA’s Dietary Guidelines. It contains four different sections of fruits, whole grains, vegetables and lean protein, each with helpful descriptions and colorful graphics. The Wildcat Plate also encourages “Delicious, Nutritious, Healthy and Sustainable” decisions in and out of the dining halls.
UNH Hospitality Services partnerships are displayed including The Menus of Change, Partnership for a Healthier America, Certified Green Restaurant and Guiding Stars.
Our goal is that the plate will help guests navigate towards wholesome choices in an effort to bring about a healthier campus and encourage lifelong nutritious eating habits.
