The earner of this badge gained knowledge of professional and ethical standards of conduct in research and scholarship as well as pertinent regulations, policies and guidelines. They examined issues related to the conduct of research and scholarship, including data management, authorship and collaborations, and learned to identify and analyze ethical issues that may arise in professional careers.

Completion of this training meets the UNH Graduate School’s incoming PhD student Responsible Conduct of Research training requirement as well as the National Science Foundation’s and the US Department of Agriculture National Institute of Food and Agriculture’s Responsible Conduct of Research training requirement.
